This starch (E1442) is used as a food additive. With a waxy corn base, it has high viscosity and good resistance to high temperature (U.H.T.), low pH, high tension and shear.
It also has excellent stability against thawing and freezing cycles
Uses: In the dairy industry, especially whipped yogurt, processed cheese, low-fat cream, ice cream, ketchup, bakery and confectionery products. It can be used as a stabilizer, emulsifier and fat substitute. textured (gel)
